The Browning BL-22 FLD Grade II is a classic lever-action .22 rifle built for shooters who value tradition, accuracy, and the timeless appeal of American rifle design. Chambered in .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle, this octagon-barreled rifle delivers the kind of versatile, low-recoil performance that makes it ideal for small-game hunting, target shooting, and introducing new shooters to centerfire-style handling. The full octagon barrel is both functionally elegant and visually distinctive—a signature touch that sets quality .22 lever guns apart from basic utility rifles.
The Grade II walnut stock and satin nickel receiver strike a refined balance between hunter-grade durability and aesthetic appeal. At just 5 pounds 4 ounces and 40.75 inches overall, the BL-22 is nimble enough for brush hunting and comfortable enough for a full day at the range. The manual safety keeps your shot secure until you're ready, while the adjustable front and rear sights allow you to dial in precision at typical .22 distances. The 15-round tubular magazine feeds smoothly through the lever action, giving you sustained shooting without constant reloading—whether you're working through a box at the range or hunting rabbits across a field.
This is a rifle for shooters who understand that .22 lever guns remain one of the most satisfying platforms in American gunmaking. No plastic, no modern tactical aesthetics, no apologies. If you shoot a lot, hunt varmints and small game, or just appreciate the mechanical honesty of a good lever action, the BL-22 Grade II rewards that respect with reliability and genuine rifle feel.
