The Browning 1911-22 is a single-action rimfire pistol built on the classic 1911 platform, scaled down to .22 LR for shooters who want the ergonomics and handling of an iconic design without the recoil or ammunition cost. If you're training on the 1911 manual of arms, plinking at the range, or introducing a new shooter to centerfire-style controls in a low-recoil package, this full-size version delivers familiar sight picture and grip angle in a forgiving caliber.

The full-size frame keeps the 1911 proportions intact—7.5 inches overall with a 4.25-inch barrel—so your muscle memory transfers directly from centerfire practice. The textured grip panels provide consistent purchase even during extended range sessions, and the A1-style sights keep things straightforward and reliable. At 14 ounces, it's light enough for casual shooting without fatigue, but substantial enough to feel like a real firearm in your hand. The 10-round magazine capacity means fewer reloads on the line, and .22 LR ammunition is affordable and widely available, making this an ideal platform for high-volume practice or teaching the fundamentals of single-action trigger control.

The matte black finish resists glare and won't draw attention on the bench or in your range bag. This is rimfire shooting done right—a straightforward, no-nonsense trainer that respects the 1911's legacy while keeping things accessible and fun.
