The Bergara B-14 Hunter .308 Win bolt-action rifle brings Spanish gunmaking heritage to the American hunting field. Built on Bergara's reputation for barrel quality and action smoothness, the B-14 Hunter delivers craftsmanship that typically costs far more, at a price that respects your budget. This is a working rifle for serious hunters—whether you're after whitetail, elk, or anything in between—engineered to shoot accurately and handle the elements without flinching.
What sets the B-14 apart is the attention to detail in every system. The two-lug action features a sliding plate extractor and coned bolt nose for buttery-smooth feeding and extraction. The Bergara Performance trigger—factory-set at approximately three pounds—breaks clean and predictable. The 22-inch number-four barrel is forged 4140 CrMo steel and finished in Graphite Black Cerakote, built right in Bergara's barrel factory and proven for consistent accuracy. All of this sits in a molded synthetic stock with integral steel pillars permanently bedded into the polymer for rock-solid stability, and wrapped in a SoftTouch coating that grips reliably even in wet conditions. The color—green with tan and black flecks—offers a subtle, functional camo that doesn't shout.
The rifle comes factory drilled and tapped for Remington 700–style rings and bases, so your favorite scope mounts without modification. With a 4-round capacity and an overall length of 41.5 inches, it handles like a real hunting rifle, not an afterthought. At 7.1 pounds, it's light enough to carry all day but substantial enough to settle into a steady aim. Whether you're a handloader fine-tuning loads or a hunter who grabs a box of ammo and goes, the B-14 Hunter won't let you down.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this rifle work with my Remington 700 scope rings and bases?
Yes. The B-14 Hunter comes factory drilled and tapped for Remington 700–style rings and bases using standard 6-48 screws, so you can mount your existing optics without gunsmithing.
What's the trigger pull like, and can I adjust it?
The Bergara Performance trigger comes factory-set at approximately three pounds and breaks clean and predictable. We don't have information on user adjustment—contact Bergara or your dealer for details on customization options.
Is the synthetic stock weather-resistant?
Yes. The glass fiber–reinforced synthetic stock is designed to handle harsh conditions. The SoftTouch coating gives a tacky, secure grip even when wet, making it a practical choice for hunting in rain or snow.
What's the magazine capacity, and can I upgrade to a detachable magazine?
This model holds 4 rounds in the standard .308 Winchester configuration. Bergara offers both hinged floorplate and detachable magazine options across the B-14 line; contact your dealer about magazine upgrade compatibility for this specific rifle.
