The Bergara B-14 Hunter .243 Win 22" rifle with green synthetic stock brings Spanish gunmaking precision to the production hunting market without the custom rifle price tag. Bergara built their reputation on barrel quality, and the B-14 Hunter carries that legacy forward with a domestically-drilled, ready-to-mount platform for serious hunters who refuse to compromise on accuracy or reliability. The .243 Winchester chambering pairs proven power with mild recoil and flat trajectory—a natural choice for deer, antelope, and varmint hunting across varied terrain.
What sets the B-14 apart is the obsessive attention to mechanical fundamentals. The proprietary B-14 action uses a two-lug design with a sliding plate extractor and coned bolt nose and breech for smooth, reliable feeding and extraction every time. Bergara's own curved trigger arrives factory-set at three pounds with a crisp, predictable break. The 22-inch number 4 tapered barrel is forged from 4140 CrMo steel, finished in Graphite Black Cerakote, and bedded with integral steel pillars molded permanently into the synthetic stock for rock-solid stability. This isn't marketing—pillar bedding is a no-compromise accuracy feature usually reserved for rifles twice the price.
The glass-fiber reinforced synthetic stock wears a green base with tan and black flecks for practical hunting camo coverage, finished in SoftTouch coating that grips reliably in wet or cold conditions. At 7.1–7.3 lbs, the B-14 Hunter balances substance with packability for a rifle you'll actually want to carry all day. Factory drilled and tapped for Remington 700 scope bases (6-48 screws), it accepts standard Rem 700 rings, so quality glass mounts easily without guesswork. The 4-round magazine capacity handles .243 Win ammo efficiently.
This is a hunter's rifle, not a target gun or a marketing exercise. Bergara machines every barrel in Spain on their own automated production lines, then assembles the action with the same craftsmanship they apply to customs. You get genuine Spanish barrel quality, a robust American-style stock, and mechanical systems proven across thousands of miles of real hunting—all built to deliver sub-MOA accuracy from a compact, lightweight package your shoulder won't regret at the end of a long day.
