The Bergara B-14 Timber rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 22" barrel brings Spanish-made precision to the hunting field without the custom-rifle price tag. Built at Bergara's automated barrel factory in Spain, this is a rifle designed for serious hunters who refuse to compromise on accuracy and build quality. The 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge has earned its reputation for flat shooting and energy retention on medium to large game, and the B-14 Timber's pedigree—rooted in Bergara's custom rifle heritage—means you're getting that same attention to detail in a production gun you can actually afford.

The foundation is Bergara's own barrel and action. The No. 4 profile 4140 CrMo steel barrel wears a Graphite Black Cerakote finish and is built to the accuracy standards Bergara made its name on. The B-14 action uses a two-lug bolt system with a sliding plate extractor and coned bolt nose and breech for smooth, reliable feeding and extraction cycle after cycle. The Bergara Performance Trigger comes factory-set at roughly three pounds—crisp and clean, the way a hunting rifle should break.

The walnut stock is where craftsmanship shows. A Monte Carlo profile with raised comb and cheek piece gives you a natural shooting position, while integral epoxy-filled pillars bedded into the stock keep the action locked in place for consistent accuracy. The whole package runs 7.3 to 7.6 lbs depending on exact configuration—light enough to carry all day, heavy enough to settle into a solid shooting position. A hinged floor plate holds four rounds, and the rifle ships factory drilled and tapped for Remington 700 style rings and bases, so you can mount optics immediately and get to the range.

This is the rifle for hunters who know the difference between a name-brand production gun and one actually built to shoot.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Bergara B-14 Timber compatible with standard Remington 700 scope bases?

Yes. The rifle ships factory drilled and tapped for Remington 700 style rings and bases using 6-48 screws. This is one of the most common mounting patterns in the industry, so finding rings and scope bases won't be difficult.

What kind of game is the 6.5 Creedmoor suited for?

The 6.5 Creedmoor is a versatile cartridge known for flat trajectories and energy retention. It's effective on medium to large game and has become popular with hunters who value both range performance and stopping power without excessive recoil.

Does the trigger need adjustment out of the box?

The Bergara Performance Trigger comes factory-set at approximately three pounds. This is a crisp, clean pull suitable for hunting and field use. If you want to adjust it further, that's a job for a gunsmith familiar with the B-14 action.

What comes in the box with the rifle?

The Bergara B-14 Timber rifle is sold as the complete rifle with stock, barrel, and action assembled. It includes a hinged floor plate magazine. You will need to add a scope mount, rings, and scope separately to complete your setup for the range or field.
