The Zastava PAP M90 is a 5.56x45mm semi-automatic rifle built on the proven M70 platform and designed for hunters, sport shooters, and anyone seeking a reliable, no-frills rifle that handles real-world conditions. With an 18.25-inch cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel and an 8.5-pound ready weight, the PAP M90 balances controllability with the velocity needed for medium-range hunting and range work. The walnut furniture gives it a clean, traditional look while the forged receiver and adjustable gas system deliver the durability you'd expect from a rifle engineered to work in extreme environments.

What sets the PAP M90 apart is its practical feature set: an adjustable gas system lets you tune performance for different ammunition and conditions, a bolt hold-open notch on the safety lever aids efficiency during reloads, and adjustable sights keep you in the fight without requiring optics out of the box. The included 30-round polymer magazine offers plenty of capacity for range sessions, while the semi-automatic operation and familiar ergonomics make it accessible to shooters of varied experience levels.

Whether you're stocking a reliable hunting rifle, building a 5.56 defensive platform, or looking for a rugged range gun that won't quit, the PAP M90 delivers Zastava's reputation for combat-proven reliability in a civilian-legal package. This is the kind of rifle that works—no marketing, no unnecessary features, just solid engineering and honest performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's included with the PAP M90?

The rifle ships with one 30-round polymer magazine and adjustable iron sights already mounted. You'll be able to head to the range or field with minimal additional setup.

Can I mount an optic on the PAP M90?

Yes. The PAP M90 features an adjustable rear sight that can be adjusted or removed, allowing you to mount optics on the receiver using standard mounting systems compatible with AK-platform rifles.

What's the advantage of the adjustable gas system?

The adjustable gas system lets you fine-tune the rifle's performance based on the ammunition you're using and environmental conditions. This means better reliability and controllability whether you're shooting suppressed, running lighter loads, or operating in extreme temperatures.

Is the PAP M90 suitable for hunting?

Yes. The 5.56x45mm cartridge is effective for varmint and small-to-medium game hunting within appropriate ranges, and the PAP M90's 18.25-inch barrel and adjustable sights make it a practical hunting rifle. As always, check your local regulations before using any rifle for hunting.
