The Winchester XPR Thumbhole Varmint SR in 6.8 Western is a precision bolt-action rifle built for shooters who demand accuracy and control at the range or in the field. This rifle combines Winchester's proven XPR platform with a specialized varmint-style stock and modern ergonomics, making it an excellent choice for target shooting, competition, or varmint hunting where precision and repeatability matter.

The thumbhole stock with raised cheekpiece gives you a solid, repeatable cheek weld and natural grip geometry that keeps your hand centered on the rifle. The gray laminate finish looks clean and modern while resisting the weather better than wood—a practical choice for a rifle that'll see regular use. The action is built on a matte-blued steel receiver drilled and tapped for a scope mount, ready to accept your optic setup right out of the box.

Under the hood, you're getting Winchester's M.O.A. trigger system, a two-position thumb safety, and a bolt unlock button for smooth, intuitive operation. The barrel is button rifled and free-floating, with a recessed target crown designed to protect accuracy. The matte blued finish on the barrel and receiver resists glint and provides solid corrosion resistance. A nickel Teflon coating on the bolt keeps it running smooth and clean, even when conditions get tough. Two sling swivel studs on the forearm let you mount your sling securely, and a thread protector ships with the rifle.

If you're serious about long-range accuracy, varmint work, or just want a rifle that'll shoot where you point it, the Winchester XPR Thumbhole Varmint SR delivers the precision and ergonomics serious shooters expect.
