The Winchester XPR left-hand rifle in .308 Winchester is purpose-built for left-handed hunters and shooters who won't compromise on quality. Winchester engineered this bolt-action from the ground up with a fully ambidextrous receiver design, smooth chrome-moly steel bolt, and a matte black Perma-Cote finish that sheds glare in the field. The 22-inch barrel is button-rifled and free-floated for accuracy, with a recessed target crown for consistent performance. Whether you're hunting whitetail at moderate distances or working up loads on the range, the XPR delivers Winchester's reputation for precision in a platform that respects how lefties actually shoot.
The composite stock features Inflex Technology recoil pad—Winchester's proven shock-absorption system that softens felt recoil without adding bulk. An oversized bolt handle (ambidextrous-friendly) and two-position thumb safety make operation intuitive, while the M.O.A. Trigger System delivers a crisp, adjustable break. The detachable box magazine with 3-round capacity lets you reload quickly or swap loads on the fly. Nickel Teflon coating on the bolt body resists corrosion and smooths the cycling experience. Sling swivel studs are factory-installed, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope rings—mount your optic and hunt.
This isn't a rifle that asks you to adapt to it. Winchester understood that left-handed shooters deserve controls and ergonomics that match, not a converted right-hand gun. The XPR LH is a serious, no-fuss hunting rifle for people who know what they want and expect it to work the first time and every time after.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this rifle truly set up for left-handed shooters, or just a converted right-hand rifle?
The XPR LH is engineered from the ground up for left-handed operation. The bolt, safety, and controls are all purpose-built for lefties—it's not a mirror-image conversion. Winchester designed it to feel natural and handle smoothly for shooters who work the bolt and operate the safety with their left hand.
What scope mount system do I need?
The receiver is drilled and tapped for standard rifle scope rings. Scope rings and scope are not included; you'll need to choose rings that match your preferred optic and base diameter (typically 1-inch or 30mm). Winchester receivers accept industry-standard mounts.
What's included in the box?
The rifle comes with the rifle, stock, barrel, bolt assembly, detachable 3-round magazine, and sling swivel studs. Scope, scope rings, and ammunition are not included.
Is the .308 Winchester a good hunting caliber?
Yes. The .308 Winchester is one of the most versatile and widely used hunting cartridges for North American medium to large game, from whitetail to elk at moderate to long range. It's also a favorite for target shooting and competition. Factory ammunition is readily available, and reloading components are abundant.
