The Winchester Xpert 22 SR is a lightweight bolt-action .22LR rifle built for shooters who want real accuracy and versatility without the weight penalty. Threaded for a suppressor and wrapped in TrueTimber Strata camo, this rimfire delivers precision performance in a package that feels as good in the field as it does on the bench. Whether you're training, hunting small game, or just ringing steel at the range, the Xpert SR brings Winchester's centerfire rifle discipline to the .22 platform.
The heart of the Xpert is its precision button-rifled barrel with a recessed target crown—the kind of detail that separates a shooting tool from a toy. The Rimfire M.O.A. Trigger is adjustable across three levers, giving you the control to dial in exactly the pull weight and break you want. A steel receiver drilled and tapped for optics mounts means you can mount a scope without hassle, and the included Picatinny rail on the forearm (with rail cover) opens the door to modern accessories like lights or lasers if you want them.
The molded polymer stock keeps things light and durable, while the extended bolt handle and ambidextrous magazine release work equally well for right- and left-handed shooters. You get open sights (adjustable rear, ramped post front) out of the box, so you can shoot immediately, and one 10-round rotary magazine is included. Better yet, the rifle accepts aftermarket 10/22 magazines, so ammo feeding options are plentiful and affordable. The 1/2 x 28 TPI threaded muzzle is ready for a suppressor or other muzzle devices—just keep the knurled thread protector handy when you run naked.
Built tough, finished right, and designed to grow with your needs—the Xpert 22 SR is how a serious .22 rifle should be made.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I mount a suppressor on the Winchester Xpert 22 SR?
Yes. The barrel is threaded 1/2 x 28 TPI, the standard suppressor thread pitch for .22LR. A knurled thread protector is included to protect the threads when a suppressor isn't mounted.
What magazines does the Xpert 22 SR use?
It comes with one 10-round rotary magazine and accepts aftermarket 10/22 magazines, giving you plenty of options for spare mags and loading flexibility.
Is this rifle ready to mount a scope out of the box?
Yes. The steel receiver is drilled and tapped for standard optic mounts. You'll need to add your own scope rings and rings, but the mounting holes are ready to go.
Can left-handed shooters use the Xpert 22 SR?
The magazine release is ambidextrous (side-mounted rails or release tab), so both right- and left-handed shooters can operate it equally well. The open sights work for either hand orientation too.
