The Winchester Wildcat 22 LR is a modern take on a rimfire classic—a semi-automatic .22 rifle built for shooters who want reliability, ease of use, and real utility without compromise. Winchester has a century-plus heritage in rimfire rifles, and the Wildcat represents a significant step forward in how a .22 autoloader should function. This is the rifle for plinking, small-game hunting, training new shooters, or just putting rounds downrange without fuss.
What sets the Wildcat apart is its thoughtful design for real-world use. The field-removable lower receiver means you can break it down for cleaning and transport without tools. Ambidextrous controls accommodate both right- and left-handed shooters equally. The striker-fired action is straightforward and reliable—no mystery internals, no finicky takedown. Integral Picatinny rails give you room to mount optics or accessories, and the rear barrel access design keeps the action accessible. At 4 pounds and 36.25 inches overall, the Wildcat is light enough to carry all day and handy enough for accurate shooting from any position.
The 18-inch barrel and 16-inch twist rate are engineered for .22 LR standard and high-velocity ammunition. The 10-round magazine keeps you feeding without constant reloads, and the length of pull at 13.5 inches fits most shooters comfortably. Whether you're zeroing in a new shooter, running a plinker at the range, or taking it into the field, the Wildcat delivers the accuracy and dependability you expect from Winchester.
