The Winchester XPR Left-Hand in .223 Remington is a purpose-built bolt-action rifle designed specifically for left-handed hunters and shooters who refuse to compromise on quality. This isn't a retrofitted right-hand gun—Winchester engineered the XPR LH as a true southpaw platform, giving you the ergonomics and confidence that come with a rifle built the right way from the ground up. The 20-inch barrel wears a matte black Perma-Cote finish that matches the steel receiver, creating a clean, no-nonsense aesthetic that works equally well in the field or at the range.

Built on a solid steel receiver with a chrome-moly steel bolt, the XPR LH brings real precision engineering to a practical, affordable package. The barrel is button-rifled and free-floated for consistent accuracy, and it comes threaded 5/8x24 to accept suppressors or muzzle brakes—a valuable feature for shooters managing recoil or noise. Winchester's M.O.A. Trigger System delivers a clean, predictable break, while the two-position thumb safety keeps the gun secure until you're ready. The composite stock features Inflex Technology recoil management, making follow-up shots faster and more comfortable even as the rifle breaks in.

The detachable box magazine means fast reloads in the field, and the rifle ships drilled and tapped for scope mounts, so you can get behind glass immediately. A sling swivel stud is already installed. Left-handed operation comes standard—the bolt unlock button, safety lever, and magazine release all live on the correct side. At .223 Remington, you're looking at a lightweight, affordable cartridge with manageable recoil, making this platform equally at home teaching a newcomer, running predator hunts, or putting rounds downrange at the bench. No scope included.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this rifle truly left-handed, or is it just a standard right-hand gun?

This is a genuine left-hand rifle engineered from the ground up for southpaw shooters. The bolt unlocks from the right side, the safety lever and magazine release are positioned for your left hand, and all controls operate naturally for left-hand operation.

Can I add a suppressor to the XPR LH?

Yes. The barrel is threaded 5/8x24, which accepts most suppressors and muzzle brakes designed for that thread pitch. You'll need to verify your suppressor's specifications for compatibility.

What comes with the rifle, and what do I need to add?

The rifle is shipped complete with the detachable magazine and sling swivel stud pre-installed. A scope is not included; you'll need to supply your own optic and mount bases, though the receiver is already drilled and tapped for standard scope bases.

Is the .223 Remington suitable for hunting, or is it primarily a range cartridge?

The .223 Remington is widely used for predator hunting and varmint work, as well as recreational shooting. Its light recoil, accuracy potential, and affordable ammunition make it versatile for both purposes. Check local hunting regulations before using it for any game animals in your area.
