The Winchester XPR left-hand rifle in .30-06 Springfield is a purpose-built bolt-action hunting rifle engineered for southpaw shooters who refuse to compromise on quality or capability. Built on a solid steel receiver with a precision button-rifled barrel, this 24-inch rifle combines Winchester's renowned accuracy heritage with modern materials and ergonomics designed specifically for left-handed operation. Whether you're hunting whitetail in dense timber or glassing prairie at distance, the XPR LH delivers the accuracy and reliability that Winchester has built its reputation on—without the frustration of shooting a right-handed rifle.

The rifle's composite stock wears a TrueTimber Midnight camouflage finish that works equally well in autumn forests or winter cover. Durability is covered by Tungsten Cerakote on both the barrel and receiver, a ceramic-based finish that resists corrosion and handling wear far better than standard bluing. The 9/16x24 threaded muzzle comes factory-equipped with a muzzle brake, allowing you to run a suppressor if your hunting situation allows, or simply manage recoil with the included brake. An Inflex recoil pad absorbs impact, making follow-up shots more manageable and faster.

Handling is smooth thanks to an oversized bolt handle that works intuitively for left-handed operation, and the MOA trigger system breaks clean without creep. The rifle ships with a detachable box magazine for quick reloads, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for standard scope mounts—no gunsmithing required to mount your optic. Sling swivel studs are already installed, so you can get into the field quickly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this rifle really built for left-handed shooters, or is it just a right-hand rifle with the safety swapped?

This is a true left-hand rifle. The bolt, safety, and overall control layout are engineered for left-handed operation. The oversized bolt handle is positioned for natural left-hand manipulation, making this genuinely easier and more intuitive to shoot for southpaw hunters.

Can I use a suppressor on this rifle?

Yes. The muzzle is threaded 9/16x24, which is a common standard that accepts most .30-caliber suppressors. The muzzle brake that ships with the rifle can be removed and replaced with a suppressor if your hunting area and local laws allow it.

Does this rifle come with a magazine?

Yes, it includes a detachable box magazine. The magazine is not fixed, so you can swap it out if you need spares.

What kind of scope mount do I need?

The receiver is drilled and tapped for standard rifle scope mounts. You'll need a two-piece base set or a one-piece mount that fits standard Picatinny or Weaver spacing. No gunsmithing is required—just bolt on your base, add rings, and mount your optic.
