The Winchester XPR THV in .308 Winchester is a purpose-built bolt-action rifle that combines accuracy, reliability, and real-world shootability. The 24-inch barrel and short-action receiver keep the overall length trim and handy at 44 inches while maintaining the velocity and energy you need for medium to long-range work. At 8 pounds, it's light enough to carry on a hunt but substantial enough to shoot steady from a bench or rest. The gray laminate thumbhole stock isn't just good-looking—it's engineered to stay put. Laminated wood resists the warping and flex that can degrade accuracy over time, and the thumbhole design with raised cheekpiece gives you a consistent, repeatable grip and sight picture whether you're shooting offhand, from a rest, or stalking in the field.
Winchester equipped this rifle with their M.O.A. trigger system, a two-position thumb safety, and a free-floating, button-rifled barrel crowned at the target with a recessed crown. The action is drilled and tapped for modern scope mounts, and the muzzle is threaded to accept a suppressor or muzzle device—a thread protector cap is included. The vented forearm channels heat away from the barrel during shooting, helping you maintain consistency shot after shot. Two sling swivel studs on the forearm let you run both a sling and a bipod, giving you flexibility for how you want to shoot.
With a 13¾-inch length of pull, a magazine capacity of 3 rounds, and a 10-inch twist rate, the .308 Winchester XPR THV is sized and spec'd for hunters and shooters who want a rifle that does one job very well: deliver accurate fire from wherever the hunt takes you. This isn't a tricked-out target gun or a race gun—it's a field-proven, dependable .308 that works as hard as you do.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's included with the Winchester XPR THV .308?
The rifle comes with a thread protector cap for the threaded muzzle. You'll need to source a scope mount, rings, and scope separately; the receiver is already drilled and tapped for standard mounts.
Can I use a bipod and sling at the same time?
Yes. The forearm has two sling swivel studs—one for a sling and one for a bipod—so you can set up however works best for your shooting situation.
Is the .308 Winchester XPR THV suitable for hunting?
Yes. The compact 44-inch overall length, 8-pound weight, and .308 caliber make it well-suited for field hunting where you need a rifle that's easy to carry and ready to shoot from varied positions.
Does the laminate stock resist weather and warping?
Laminate stocks are much more stable than solid wood in varying humidity and temperature conditions. The gray laminate here resists warping and flex, which helps maintain the accuracy and consistency of your shot placement over time.
