The Winchester SXP Woodland is a pump-action shotgun built for hunters who demand speed, reliability, and versatility across diverse hunting environments. This 12-gauge 3.5-inch chambered model pairs time-tested Winchester pump mechanics with full-coverage Woodland camouflage finish—a practical pattern that works equally well in flooded timber, marsh cattails, and agricultural settings. The 26-inch barrel comes hard chrome-plated in both chamber and bore, protecting against corrosion and steel shot wear. Whether you're working late-season ducks or pursuing upland game, the SXP Woodland delivers the durability and handling speed that separates a workhorse shotgun from the rest.
Built on Winchester's proven dual action-bar system and strong rotary bolt, the SXP cycles smoothly and reliably shot after shot. The composite stock and fore-end are finished in the same Woodland camouflage scheme, maintaining a cohesive, field-ready appearance. Three Invector-Plus choke tubes (Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder) let you tailor shot patterns to your hunting situation without swapping barrels. The rifle-style sighting setup—TRUGLO fiber-optic front sight paired with an ivory mid bead—keeps you on target in low-light conditions common to dawn and dusk hunting sessions.
Comfort matters on long days afield. The Inflex Technology recoil pad absorbs impact and reduces shooter fatigue, and dual sling swivel studs integrate seamlessly into the stock for carrying options. Chrome-plated internals resist rust and corrosion in wet environments, an essential feature for serious waterfowlers and marsh hunters. If you're looking for a no-nonsense pump shotgun that looks the part and handles reliably in the field, the Winchester SXP Woodland checks every box.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the Winchester SXP Woodland handle 3.5-inch shells?
Yes. The SXP is chambered for both 3.5-inch and 3-inch 12-gauge rounds, so you can load heavier loads for late-season waterfowl or standard 3-inch shells for upland hunting.
What choke tubes are included, and are they changeable?
The shotgun comes with three Invector-Plus choke tubes: Full (FMIC), Modified, and Improved Cylinder. They're removable and interchangeable, letting you adjust your shot pattern for different hunting scenarios.
Is the hard chrome plating on the barrel necessary for my hunting style?
Hard chrome plating on the chamber and bore adds significant corrosion resistance, especially valuable if you hunt in wet environments, use steel shot, or hunt waterfowl regularly. If you stick to dry upland hunting with lead shot, it's still beneficial for long-term durability.
Does the Woodland camouflage work for different hunting environments?
Woodland camouflage is a versatile pattern effective in timber, marsh, brush, and agricultural settings. Its mix of greens, browns, and blacks blends well across the range of late fall and winter hunting conditions most hunters encounter.
