The Winchester SXP Waterfowl in TrueTimber Prairie camouflage is a pump-action shotgun built for serious duck and goose hunters who want versatility without compromise. This 12-gauge offers a 3.5-inch chamber to handle magnum loads, paired with a 26-inch barrel in full Prairie camo coverage that helps you blend into open water and marsh environments. The aluminum alloy receiver is also finished in TrueTimber Prairie, creating a unified, natural-looking platform that works across multiple waterfowling scenarios—and remains capable if you want to swing on upland birds.
Winchester designed the SXP platform around reliability in wet, harsh conditions. The hard chrome-plated chamber and bore resist corrosion from repeated use around water, while the composite stock and foregrip won't swell or warp with exposure to moisture the way wood would. The Inflex Technology recoil pad absorbs felt recoil, making extended hunts more manageable, especially when you're cycling through three-and-a-half-inch loads. Three Invector-Plus choke tubes give you the flexibility to adjust constriction depending on your distance and target—tighten up for distant geese, or open it for closer ducks and upland work.
The fiber-optic sight from TRUGLO mounts atop the receiver, giving you a bright aiming point in low-light dawn and dusk conditions typical of waterfowl season. Sling swivel studs are already attached, so you can rig it the way you like without gunsmithing. Whether you're hunting prairie pothole country or coastal marshes, this SXP combines proven pump-action handling with the durability and camouflage coverage serious waterfowlers demand.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use 3-inch loads in this shotgun?
Yes. The 3.5-inch chamber accepts both 3.5-inch and 3-inch ammunition, giving you flexibility in shot selection and cost when standard waterfowl loads will do the job.
What choke tubes come with the Winchester SXP Waterfowl?
Three Invector-Plus choke tubes are included. You can swap them to adjust pellet constriction for different distances and bird species.
Is the fiber-optic sight removable?
The TRUGLO fiber-optic sight is mounted on the receiver. We don't have specifications on removal or rail compatibility, so contact Winchester or our team for questions about optics mounting.
What's the barrel length and is it suitable for close-range hunting?
The barrel is 26 inches. At that length with the included choke tubes, you can adjust constriction to work closer ranges or extend your effective distance depending on your choke selection and load.
