The Winchester Model 1895 in 30-06 Springfield is a lever-action rifle that bridges over a century of American sporting tradition with genuine modern reliability. This isn't a replica or a nostalgic nod—it's a real working rifle built on the design that armed hunters and soldiers worldwide, chambered in one of the most versatile and available centerfire cartridges ever made. If you're after a lever gun with authentic character, smooth handling, and the ballistic capability to handle medium to large game, the 1895 in 30-06 delivers on all counts.

Winchester's Model 1895 pioneered the lever-action with a fixed box magazine—a game-changer when it debuted, and still a practical advantage over tube-fed designs when you're feeding pointed bullets. The 24-inch barrel wears a gloss blued finish that catches the light the way good steel should, paired with a steel receiver equally well finished. The straight-grip Grade III/IV walnut stock is precisely fitted and dressed with traditional cut checkering, giving you secure purchase and a rifle that looks like it belongs in the field. A top tang safety keeps operation instinctive, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for side-mount optics if you want modern glass without altering the rifle's classic profile.

This comes ready to shoot: Marble Arms gold bead front sight and buckhorn rear sight are mounted and zeroed. The button-rifled barrel is cut for accuracy, and the 30-06 chambering means ammunition is never hard to find. Whether you're working open country or timber, the Model 1895 is equally at home—quick to shoulder, fast to work the lever, and backed by a cartridge that has proven itself on every game animal in North America and beyond.
