The Winchester 70 Super Grade in .338 Win Mag with satin walnut is a full-featured hunting rifle built on one of America's most trusted bolt-action platforms. This is a rifle that bridges classic Winchester heritage with practical performance for hunters pursuing large game at distance. The .338 Win Mag delivers the velocity and energy needed for elk, moose, and long-range mountain hunts, while the Super Grade's refined fit and finish remind you that you're carrying serious craftsmanship into the field.
What sets the Super Grade apart is the attention to detail: a fancy walnut stock finished in satin that won't reflect light across a ridge, a stainless steel barrel that handles weather without flinching, and Winchester's proven three-round magazine. The 26-inch barrel gives you the velocity the .338 Win Mag was designed for, and the bolt-action mechanism is as reliable as it gets. This isn't a rifle that demands constant coddling—it's built to be hunted hard, cleaned regularly, and trusted when it counts.
Whether you're glassing for elk in the high country, planning a moose hunt in Alaska, or setting up for long-range target work, the Winchester 70 Super Grade handles the job with the kind of straightforward competence that's made the 70 a hunter's choice for generations. The Super Grade's walnut and stainless steel combination gives it a timeless look that works whether you're in a guide's camp or your own truck.
