The Weatherby Orion Sporting 30" 12ga over under shotgun delivers the kind of balanced handling and clean aesthetics that elevate your time in the field or at the clay course. Built on a low-profile receiver with an ambidextrous top tang safety, this 3" chamber gun pairs classic over-under reliability with modern sporting refinements. The 30-inch ported barrels taper to a ventilated top rib (10mm x 6mm) topped with a fiber-optic front sight, giving you a clean sight picture whether you're tracking fast-moving upland game or calling shots on incoming waterfowl.
Weatherby's A-Grade walnut stock shines in high-gloss finish with diamond-point checkering, while the metalwork receives the same meticulous treatment. The adjustable comb lets you dial in your sight picture and cheek weld, a crucial detail for both consistency and comfort through a full day of shooting. Automatic ejectors keep your workflow smooth—rounds pop free cleanly without you breaking your sight picture or rhythm.
This is a gun built to swing. The low-profile receiver and balanced weight distribution (approximately 7.5 lbs) won't fight you on the mount or transition between targets. Chrome-lined bores add durability and easier maintenance, while the included knurled extended chokes (Full, Improved Modified, Modified, Improved Cylinder, and Skeet) give you the versatility to adjust your pattern for everything from tight trap work to closer-range hunting applications.
Whether you're breaking clays, hunting pheasants and doves, or running a mixed upland day, the Weatherby Orion Sporting brings a serious balance of form, function, and shootability to an over-under frame that's earned its reputation in shotgun circles.
