The Weatherby Mark V Accumark in 300 PRC is a purpose-built long-range hunting rifle that combines Weatherby's proven Mark V action with modern precision features. If you're serious about reaching out past 500 yards—whether you're glassing open country or setting up at a distance—this rifle delivers the accuracy and reliability you need. The 300 PRC cartridge sits at the sweet spot for hunters who want serious downrange power without the recoil and logistics headaches of larger magnums, and the Accumark's design fully exploits that round's potential.
At the heart of this rifle is the legendary Mark V action, a platform that's earned its reputation through decades of hard use in the field. The #3 contour barrel is fluted and finished in a two-tone treatment: spun stainless steel with a Graphite Black Cerakote coating that's both tough and visually distinctive. The receiver, bolt, bolt knob, and safety follow suit in Graphite Black Cerakote, creating a cohesive, modern aesthetic that doesn't sacrifice durability. This isn't just about looks—the fluting reduces weight while maintaining rigidity, a smart move on a precision rifle you might pack into elk country.
The hand-laid fiberglass stock features a raised Monte Carlo comb and spiderweb accents, designed to give you a solid, repeatable cheek weld for scope work. The matte gel coat finish is practical field gear, not a collector's piece. Everything here is built for accuracy and backcountry hunting—weatherproof materials, tight tolerances, and a platform that'll perform whether you're breaking it in at the range or hunting high country.

Frequently Asked Questions
What caliber is the Weatherby Mark V Accumark and why choose 300 PRC?
This rifle is chambered in 300 PRC, a modern long-range cartridge that delivers flat trajectories and consistent performance at extended distances. It offers excellent downrange energy for hunting without the added recoil or logistics of larger magnums like the 300 Win Mag or 338 Lapua.
Is the Mark V Accumark suitable for long-range hunting?
Yes. The Accumark is purpose-built for accuracy at distance. The Mark V action is known for tight tolerances, the #3 fluted barrel is engineered for precision shooting, and the fiberglass stock with Monte Carlo comb provides a stable platform for scope work and consistent cheek welds.
What's the finish on the barrel and receiver, and how does it hold up in the field?
The barrel is spun stainless steel with Graphite Black Cerakote, and the receiver, bolt, and bolt knob are also finished in Graphite Black Cerakote. Cerakote is a ceramic-based coating known for exceptional corrosion resistance and durability in wet, harsh field conditions.
