The Tristar Viper G2 20 Gauge semi-automatic shotgun is a lightweight, fast-handling option for hunters and sport shooters who want manageable recoil without sacrificing reliability. Built on a proven gas-operated platform, this 26-inch barrel shotgun delivers the kind of dependable performance you need whether you're working upland birds, clay courses, or hunting waterfowl in tighter spaces where a shorter, handier gun matters. The synthetic stock and foregrip are built for real-world conditions—soft-touch surfaces keep your grip secure even when things get wet or cold, while the overall package stays nimble in the field or on the range.

What sets the Viper G2 apart is attention to the details that actually make a gun easier to use. The oversized bolt handle and release let you work the action quickly without fumbling, and the manual E-Z load magazine cut-off gives you control over how many rounds you're running—critical for hunting situations where legal limits apply. The anodized receiver and chrome-lined chamber and barrel are engineered to handle the wear and corrosion that come with regular use. Quick shot plug removal means swapping between legal hunting configurations and full-capacity practice setups takes seconds, not minutes.

The 26-inch barrel wears a vented rib with a matted sight plane to reduce glare, topped with a fiber optic sight so you can pick up your target fast in low light. Three Beretta-style choke tubes (IC, M, F) let you dial in the right pattern for your distance and game. Swivel studs are drilled and ready for a sling, and the gun comes with a shot plug and five-round magazine to get you started right away.

Frequently Asked Questions

What choke tubes come with the Viper G2 20-gauge?

The shotgun ships with three Beretta-style choke tubes: Improved Cylinder (IC), Modified (M), and Full (F). This gives you the flexibility to adjust your shot pattern for hunting at different ranges or clay shooting distances.

Is the Viper G2 a good choice for upland hunting?

Yes. The 26-inch barrel and 20-gauge make it nimble in brush and lighter to carry all day. The soft-touch synthetic stock is durable in field conditions, and the fiber optic sight helps you pick up targets quickly in varied light. The three included choke tubes let you pattern it for your hunting scenario.

What does the manual E-Z load magazine cut-off do?

It lets you manually control how many rounds load into the magazine, so you can easily comply with hunting regulations that cap shell count without removing the magazine itself.

Can I attach a sling to this shotgun?

Yes. The Viper G2 is drilled with swivel studs for standard sling attachment, so you can rig it for carry in the field or on a boat.
