The TriStar Viper G2 24119 Wood 410 gauge semi-automatic shotgun is built for shooters who want genuine versatility in a lightweight, manageable platform. At 5.7 pounds with a 26-inch barrel, this gas-operated 410 handles everything from light target loads to heavier upland and waterfowl ammunition—making it equally at home on clay ranges, in the field, or introducing new shooters to shotgunning. The Turkish walnut furniture with cut checkering and semi-gloss finish delivers classic aesthetics without the fragility of over-finished wood.

What sets the Viper G2 apart is its practical engineering. The gas-operated action cycles reliably across a wide load spectrum, while the manual E-Z load magazine cut-off lets you safely unload the chamber without cycling a fresh round from the magazine—a thoughtful feature that matters in the field. A fiber optic front sight and vented rib with matted sight plane aid target acquisition, and the chrome-lined chamber and barrel protect against corrosion and extend component life.

The included removable choke system uses Beretta Mobile threads and ships with three tubes (IC, M, F), a choke wrench, and a choke box—everything you need to quickly tailor your shot pattern to different ranges and game. The 5-round tubular magazine accepts included shot plugs for legal compliance in regulated areas. A rubber recoil pad backed by a five-year mechanical warranty absorbs impulse and signals TriStar's confidence in durability.

Whether you're a young or recoil-sensitive shooter, a clay target competitor, or an upland hunter seeking a compact, reliable 410 semi-automatic, the Viper G2 delivers real utility without unnecessary complication.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use both light target loads and heavy loads in this 410 shotgun?

Yes. The gas-operated action of the Viper G2 is designed to cycle reliably across the full spectrum from light target ammunition to heavy waterfowl loads, so you're not locked into one load weight.

What choke tubes are included and can I swap them?

The Viper G2 ships with three interchangeable chokes (Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full) that use Beretta Mobile threads. You'll also receive a choke wrench and storage box. Any chokes with Beretta-compatible threads will work with this shotgun.

How do I unload just the chamber without cycling a round from the magazine?

The manual E-Z load magazine cut-off lever is designed for this purpose. Push it up slightly and open the action; this cuts off the magazine feed and allows you to safely eject the chambered round without cycling a fresh shell into the chamber.

What's the shot plug for, and how do I remove it?

The shot plug limits magazine capacity to comply with waterfowl hunting regulations in many areas. It comes installed in the magazine and is easily removed by unscrewing the magazine cap, pulling the plug out, and replacing the cap.
