The Tristar Sporting Arms Viper G2 Youth Combo is a semi-automatic 20-gauge shotgun built to grow with young shooters. This 20ga youth shotgun comes as a complete two-barrel set, pairing a shorter youth configuration with a full-length adult setup so the gun adapts as your kid develops into their shooting years. The synthetic stock and forearm keep maintenance simple and reliable in any weather, while the blued finish protects the receiver and barrel from corrosion. This is a practical, no-nonsense platform for youth hunters and clay shooters who need a gun that won't become obsolete in two seasons.
Inside, the Viper G2 feeds from a 5-round magazine with an easy manual cut-off lever for quick capacity adjustments on the line or in the field. The chamber accommodates 3-inch shells, so you've got flexibility in load selection without changing guns. A fiber optic front sight makes target acquisition fast in variable light, and three Beretta-style choke tubes (Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full) let you dial in patterns for everything from close-cover hunting to longer-range clay presentations. The 24-inch barrel profile is a natural handling length for younger shooters, and the included barrel extension opens up sight pictures and improves swing weight if needed.
What seals the deal: you get both a youth stock and an adult stock in the box, plus the two-barrel setup, making this combo a complete platform that doesn't require expensive swaps or upgrades as the shooter grows. The chrome-lined chamber means less fouling and longer service life between cleanings. Pair this with the shot plug included for 3-shell compliance in regulated seasons, and you've got everything to get a young gun hunter or clay competitor started without compromise.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can this 20-gauge shotgun be used by both youth and adult shooters?
Yes. The Viper G2 Youth Combo includes both a youth stock and an adult stock, allowing you to configure the gun to fit different shooter sizes. This two-stock setup means the shotgun can serve a young hunter for years and adapt as they grow, or be swapped between shooters of different frame sizes.
What chokes are included and are they versatile for different shooting sports?
The Viper G2 comes with three Beretta-style choke tubes: Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full. This range covers most hunting and clay shooting scenarios, from tighter patterns at distance to more open patterns for closer work.
Why does this shotgun come with two barrels?
The two-barrel set includes a 24-inch barrel with a barrel extension option, giving you flexibility in sight picture and handling characteristics. This allows you to adjust the gun's balance and sight line to suit different shooters or preferences.
Is this shotgun compliant with waterfowl hunting regulations?
The Viper G2 comes with a shot plug included, which restricts the magazine to 3 shells for compliance with federal waterfowl hunting regulations. You can use the plug in regulated seasons or remove it for other hunting and clay shooting applications.
