The Taylors & Co 1892 Alaskan Takedown is a compact lever-action rifle built for hunters and shooters who need serious stopping power in a packable platform. Chambered in .44 Rem Mag, this takedown design lets you break the rifle into two pieces for transport or storage—a game-changer for backcountry hunters, overlanders, and anyone working in tight spaces. At just 6.6 pounds and 38 inches overall, it's light and maneuverable without sacrificing the hard-hitting capability of a .44 Magnum cartridge.

The 20-inch barrel keeps the gun nimble while delivering the velocity you need for hunting medium to large game at reasonable distances. The matte-chrome finish resists corrosion in harsh conditions, and the black soft-touch padded stock end absorbs recoil and won't slip in your hand when things get real. A Skinner rear sight provides a clear, reliable sight picture for quick shooting in the field. The 10+1 capacity gives you enough rounds on tap without making the gun unwieldy.

This rifle is a solid choice for hunters who value versatility and portability. Whether you're chasing hogs, deer, or elk in rugged country, or you simply want a capable rifle that breaks down and fits anywhere, the Taylors & Co 1892 Alaskan Takedown delivers the goods. The lever-action handling and proven .44 Magnum cartridge make it a dependable workhorse that respects tradition while solving real-world logistics.
