The Taurus GX4 TORO 9mm pistol brings optics-ready capability to the micro-compact EDC market without sacrificing the concealability that makes the GX4 line so popular. Built on Taurus's proven Optic Ready Option (T.O.R.O.) system, this 3-inch barrel handgun features a factory-cut slide designed to accept popular micro red-dot sights, letting you pair a compact footprint with modern sight technology. Whether you're running irons or red-dot glass, the GX4 TORO delivers the firepower serious defensive shooters want in a package that won't print under a cover garment.
At 18.7 ounces and just 1.08 inches wide, the GX4 TORO is built for serious carry. The micro-compact frame sits between deep-concealment mouseguns and full-size duty pistols, and the 11-round capacity gives you genuine defensive power without the bulk. Inside you'll find a gas-nitride steel slide paired with a stainless steel frame and barrel, a striker-fired action, and Taurus's Recoil Management Pad (RMP) system—thoughtful engineering for a gun designed to be carried every day and shot accurately under pressure.
The controls are no-nonsense: fixed white-dot front sight and serrated drift-adjustable rear, a flat-face serrated trigger for positive engagement, visual loaded-chamber indicator, and a reversible magazine release for southpaw shooters. A flush-mount slide cover plate is included for use without an optic. You get two magazines in the box and benefit from Taurus's straightforward takedown design. The GX4 TORO splits the difference between affordability and capability—a genuine fighting pistol for daily carry.
