The Taurus GX4 9mm pistol is a striker-fired micro-compact designed for shooters who need serious concealed carry capability without compromise. At just 1.08 inches wide and 18.5 ounces, this 3-inch-barrel 9mm delivers full-sized firepower in an EDC package that actually disappears under a shirt or jacket. The GX4 bridges the gap between pocket guns and service pistols: you get an 11-round magazine capacity, genuine ergonomics, and sights you can actually use—all without the bulk that makes daily carry a chore.
What sets the GX4 apart in the crowded micro-compact space is the attention to detail in its design. The flat-face serrated trigger offers better control and comfort than many competitors, while the signature recoil management pad (RMP) and indexed grip reduce muzzle flip and help you stay on target. The reversible magazine release and easy takedown pin mean you're not fighting the gun when you need to maintain or reload. Two 11-round magazines come included, so you've got a reload option right out of the box.
Build quality is solid: stainless steel frame with a matte finish, steel alloy slide finished in gas nitride coating, and a satin black DLC-coated barrel. The fixed steel sights feature white dots on the front and a serrated drift-adjustable rear, letting you zero to your preferences. Loaded chamber indicator, striker block, and trigger safety keep things secure. Whether you're a first-time concealed carrier, a veteran looking to downsize, or someone who simply refuses to compromise on capacity in a carry gun, the GX4 is worth a serious look.
