Standard MFG SKO Mini Semi Automatic 12ga Shotgun Black - SKOMBLK
- Caliber-Gauge:
- 12 Gauge
The Standard Manufacturing SKO Mini semi-automatic 12 gauge shotgun is a compact, purpose-built platform for shooters who want serious capability in a tight package. Built on the proven SKO and SKO Shorty design and manufactured in the USA, this gas-operated semi-auto delivers reliable performance across a variety of 2¾ and 3 inch loads. It's classified as an other firearm by the ATF and holds the distinction of being the smallest firearm of its kind on the market—making it a unique option for those seeking a short, maneuverable platform without sacrificing function or firepower.
The SKO Mini's build quality reflects its design pedigree. The receiver is machined from 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum and finished with Mil-Spec hard anodize for corrosion resistance and durability. Internal components receive salt bath nitride coating for reliable operation in adverse conditions. At 7.14 pounds (without magazine), it's light enough for all-day use. The 14¾ inch barrel is 4140 steel with a threaded muzzle—accepting standard Tru-Choke thread pattern chokes, door breachers, and other accessories to adapt the gun to your mission.
Handling and control follow the AR platform ergonomic language you likely know. The ambidextrous safety, AR-style magazine release, and bolt release let you operate the SKO Mini intuitively. The polymer grip accepts most AR-pattern grips, and the composite forend comes with a factory-installed vertical grip and M-LOE slots for mounting lights, lasers, or rail systems. The SKO Mini ships with a 2-round magazine; 5 and 10-round magazine options are available separately. A bolt hold-open feature locks the bolt back after the last round, making reloading and status checks straightforward.
Whether you're running it at the range, building a specialized platform, or exploring what this compact form factor can do, the SKO Mini delivers semi-automatic 12 gauge performance in a footprint that punches above its size class.
