The SilencerCo Osprey 9 2.0 is a 9mm suppressor built on a polygonal design that sets it apart from conventional round-tube cans. That unique geometry isn't just for looks—the polygonal shape houses a monocore baffle system that delivers greater internal volume, translating to measurably better sound reduction without forcing you to choose between versatility and performance. If you run pistols with standard sights, you'll appreciate that the suppressor's offset eccentric design sits low on the bore axis, keeping your factory sights clear and your sight picture unobstructed.

Quick, repeatable indexing matters on a suppressor, especially if you move it between hosts. The Osprey 2.0's push-button locking system makes that painless—orient it correctly every time with a single click. And if you want to squeeze out even more sound reduction on a given range session, you can shoot it "wet" by adding about 5cc of clean water or clear wire-pulling gel into the back. That temporary boost in suppression is a genuine advantage for shooters who have access to water and don't mind the extra step.

Piston compatibility expands your options. The included pistons work with common thread pitches and are interchangeable with SilencerCo's Omega 36M, Hybrid 46, Octane Series, and Omega K Series—useful if you already own other SilencerCo cans. One note: lead projectiles aren't recommended through any of SilencerCo's sealed suppressors, so stick with jacketed ammunition.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the Osprey 9 2.0 work with my standard pistol sights?

Yes. The eccentric offset design positions the suppressor below your bore axis so it won't block standard factory sights. Your sight picture remains clear.

Can I use this suppressor wet, and what exactly does that do?

Yes. You can shoot the Osprey 2.0 "wet" by inserting about 5cc of clean water or clear wire-pulling gel into the back of the suppressor. This temporarily improves sound suppression during that range session.

What ammunition should I avoid in this suppressor?

Lead projectiles are not recommended in any of SilencerCo's sealed suppressors, including the Osprey 9 2.0. Use jacketed ammunition only.

Are the pistons compatible with other SilencerCo suppressors?

Yes. The pistons included with the Osprey 9 2.0 are interchangeable with the Omega 36M, Hybrid 46, Octane Series, and Omega K Series, provided they share compatible thread pitches.
