The Sig Sauer MDX-9 SS is a modular 9mm suppressor built on titanium construction for shooters who want real flexibility in how their can performs. Unlike fixed designs, the MDX-9's baffle system lets you reconfigure it on the fly—swap baffles in or out to dial in the trade-off between sound suppression and overall length or weight that fits your mission that day. Whether you're running a tight subgun setup or prioritizing maximum sound reduction at the range, this suppressor adapts to your needs without swapping hardware.

The MDX-9 ships ready to work with common 9mm platforms. You get two pistons in the box—both 1/2x28 RH and M13.5x1 LH—so you can thread it onto most modern 9mm pistols and carbines right away. Sig includes a fixed barrel spacer for carbine use, too. The design goes beyond function: the exterior doubles as wrench flats, so you can field-strip and reconfigure the can without dedicated tools.

With 21 points of impact adjustment built in, you maintain point-of-aim consistency as you reconfigure the baffle stack. The titanium construction keeps weight down even when you're running the full baffle complement, and the modular approach means you're not stuck with one rigid suppressor—you've got one that grows or shrinks with your needs. This is the kind of suppressor that rewards understanding how your 9mm shoots and what you actually need from it on any given range session or hunting trip.

Frequently Asked Questions

What 9mm firearms is the MDX-9 SS compatible with?

The MDX-9 works with most 9mm firearms that have a threaded barrel in either 1/2x28 RH or M13.5x1 LH pitch. Sig lists direct compatibility with the MPX, P365, P365XL, P226, P229, P320, M17, M18, P938, and SP2022 (all with threaded barrels). Since aftermarket threaded barrels exist for many other platforms, check with your firearm's manufacturer or barrel maker to confirm thread pitch compatibility.

Can I change how the suppressor performs without replacing it?

Yes—that's the whole point of the modular baffle design. You can reconfigure the baffles to adjust the balance between sound suppression and overall length or weight. The exterior wrench flats let you field-strip and reassemble it without special tools.

What's included in the box?

The MDX-9 ships with two pistons (1/2x28 RH and M13.5x1 LH), a fixed barrel spacer for carbine use, and the titanium suppressor body with modular baffles.

Does reconfiguring the baffles affect my point of aim?

The MDX-9 features 21 points of impact adjustment, which means the design allows for zero maintenance even as you change the baffle configuration. However, always verify your zero after any suppressor reconfiguration.
