The Sig Sauer P229 Legion 9mm pistol is a refined, competition-inspired compact built for shooters who demand both reliability and shootability in a carry-friendly package. This isn't a generic production pistol—the Legion line represents Sig's premium tier, with purpose-driven upgrades in ergonomics, trigger quality, and sighting systems that make a real difference in the field or at the range. The 3.9-inch barrel keeps overall length to 7.4 inches and weight at 30 ounces, making it manageable for duty or concealed carry, while the DA/SA action and low-profile decocking lever appeal to shooters comfortable with a traditional trigger system and those who prioritize safety and control.

Every detail here serves function. The frame sports an X-Five undercut and aggressive front strap checkering to lock your grip high and secure, paired with a reduced and contoured beavertail that minimizes printing without sacrificing control. The trigger guard checkering and front cocking serrations aren't cosmetic—they improve purchase during press checks and malfunction drills. Inside, you get a polished DA/SA action with Sig's Short-Reset Trigger (SRT) and a Grayguns-designed P-SAIT trigger for a smooth, predictable break. The solid steel guide rod adds weight low in the frame for better recoil management and faster follow-up shots.

The X-Ray night sights deliver legitimate day/night visibility without relying on batteries, while the Legion gray Cerakote finish on the stainless steel slide resists corrosion and looks intentional. Custom G-10 grips with a Legion medallion and a Sig rail for accessories round out the package. This comes state-compliant for CT, HI, IL, MD, NJ, and NY, and ships with three 10-round steel magazines.
