The Savage Arms 93 GL LH is a left-handed 22 WMR bolt-action rimfire rifle built for shooters who need a quality small-caliber gun without compromise. If you're left-handed and tired of forcing yourself into right-handed ergonomics, this sporter-profile rifle puts the controls where they belong—on your side. The 22 Magnum cartridge delivers real velocity and energy compared to standard 22 Long Rifle, making it effective for small-game hunting, varmint control, and competitive rimfire shooting, while remaining fun and affordable to shoot.

What sets the 93 GL apart is the AccuTrigger system, Savage's adjustable trigger mechanism that lets you dial in the pull weight to suit your preference and shooting style. That level of customization is unusual in this price category and makes a genuine difference in shot consistency and confidence. The 20.75-inch barrel and blued finish give it clean, classic lines that work in the field or at the range, while the wood stock provides a traditional handling feel that many shooters prefer over tactical furniture.

At 39.5 inches overall and chambered in a proven magnum rimfire cartridge, the 93 GL LH is a versatile choice for left-handed hunters pursuing rabbits, squirrels, foxes, and other small game, as well as anyone who simply wants a precise, enjoyable rimfire for plinking and target work. The 5-round capacity keeps things simple and legal in most jurisdictions. This is genuine left-hand engineering—not a retrofit—so you get proper bolt throw, safety placement, and ejection from the factory.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Savage 93 GL LH truly a left-handed rifle, or just mirrored sights?

This is a genuine left-hand rifle. The bolt operates and ejects from the left side, and all controls—safety, magazine release—are positioned for left-handed operation. It's not a right-handed rifle with reversed sights.

What's the difference between 22 WMR and standard 22 LR ammo?

22 WMR (Magnum) is a more powerful rimfire cartridge with higher velocity and energy than 22 Long Rifle. It's more effective for hunting small game and varmints, though it costs more per round. Make sure to use only 22 WMR ammunition in this rifle—it is not compatible with 22 LR.

Can I adjust the AccuTrigger myself?

The AccuTrigger is user-adjustable, allowing you to customize the trigger pull weight. Refer to the manual for safe adjustment procedures.

What optics or mounts does the Savage 93 GL LH accept?

The rifle comes with open sights. For specific mounting compatibility or rail options, consult Savage Arms directly or the owner's manual, as this information is not provided in the product specs.
