The Savage 110 Klym is a lightweight bolt-action rifle purpose-built for hunters who pack deep into high country or trek far from the truck. Built in 6.5 Creedmoor—a proven round for medium to long-range game—this rifle strips weight without sacrificing the accuracy and reliability Savage's factory-blueprinted 110 action is known for. Coming in under 6 pounds, the Klym pairs a PROOF Research carbon fiber-wrapped stainless barrel with a custom FBT carbon fiber stock, making it one of the most weight-conscious centerfire rifles you can buy without compromise.
The engineering here is serious. PROOF Research's cut-rifled barrel is wrapped in carbon fiber and threaded for a muzzle brake (Omniport included), giving you real accuracy and a platform for sound management. The FBT stock combines a carbon fiber forend and buttstock with an additive-manufactured center section, keeping rigidity where it counts. One-button adjustable comb height means you can dial in your sight picture without fussing, and the Magnaswitch system lets you configure the rifle for your setup. A 20MOA picatinny rail is already mounted—ready to bolt on a scope and glass.
The action itself is a Blackout Cerakote stainless receiver with a matching diamond-fluted bolt and threaded bolt handle. The 1.5–4 lb. user-adjustable AccuTrigger puts you in control of pull weight, and the 3-position tang safety keeps things simple. Two sling studs give you attachment points for a pack rifle setup. This is a serious backcountry tool, not a truck gun dressed up in carbon.
