The Rossi RM64 .357 Magnum revolver is a compact, dependable wheelgun built for shooters who need serious stopping power in a manageable package. With a 4-inch barrel and stainless steel construction, this six-shot double-action/single-action revolver delivers the versatility of .357 Magnum performance—capable of firing both full-power magnums and milder .38 Special rounds—without the bulk of a full-size frame. Whether you're building a truck gun, looking for a reliable nightstand revolver, or want a proven .357 for sport shooting, the RM64 combines classic revolver simplicity with practical dimensions that work in and out of the holster.
Stainless steel throughout means this Rossi handles the elements without flinching. The fixed front and rear sights are straightforward and durable—no batteries, no electronics to fail. The rubber grip absorbs recoil comfortably and won't slip when your hands are wet or gloved. Both double-action and single-action trigger modes give you flexibility: fan the hammer for rapid follow-ups or thumbcock for deliberate, precise shots. Six rounds in the cylinder is the traditional wheelgun standard, proven effective for self-defense, hunting, and range work alike.
The RM64 appeals to shooters who respect the revolver platform for its reliability and simplicity. There's no safety lever to fumble, no magazines to lose, and no springs to weaken over years of carry. Load it, holster it, and trust it to work every time you need it. This is working gun equipment—no frills, just function.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I shoot .38 Special ammunition in the RM64?
Yes. The RM64 is chambered in .357 Magnum but safely fires .38 Special rounds. Many shooters use .38 Special for practice or reduced-recoil shooting, then load .357 Magnum for defense or hunting.
Is the RM64 suitable for concealed carry?
The 4-inch barrel and compact frame make the RM64 manageable for carry, though it's larger than pocket revolvers or subcompact semi-automatics. Its weight and balance suit owners who prefer a more substantial wheelgun and accept the trade-off in concealability for extra capacity and power.
What's the difference between double-action and single-action firing?
In double-action mode, pressing the trigger cocks and fires the gun in one motion—useful for quick follow-ups. In single-action, you manually cock the hammer first, then a lighter trigger press fires the round, allowing for more precise, controlled shots.
Are there any accessories I should consider with the RM64?
The facts provided don't specify what accessories are compatible or included with this model. Contact us or consult Rossi's literature for guidance on holsters, speedloaders, and other add-ons suited to this revolver.
