The Rossi Brawler 410/45LC 9" single shot pistol is a compact, versatile handgun built for hunters and shooters who want the flexibility to switch between .410 bore shotgun rounds and .45 Colt ammunition from the same firearm. With its break-open action and 9-inch barrel, the Brawler delivers a handy platform for small-game hunting, pest control, or defensive backup—all in a no-nonsense design that doesn't demand complicated manual of arms.
The single-shot, break-open mechanism is simple and reliable: flip the lever, load a round, close the action, and you're ready to go. The hammer-fired design gives you full control over ignition, and the textured black rubber grips provide a secure purchase whether you're wearing gloves or not. The straightforward profile and modest weight make it an easy companion for backcountry trips, truck boxes, or pack-in hunts where you're already carrying a rifle but want a capable pistol as a last resort or for small critters.
This isn't a race gun or a tacticool fantasy—it's a working pistol with a long lineage and the kind of honest engineering Rossi has built its reputation on. The ability to chamber both .410 and .45 Colt means you can tailor your load to the task at hand: shotgun pellets for birds and varmints, or heavy revolver cartridges for larger game or hard-target work. Black finish resists corrosion and keeps the profile low-key in the field.
If you're after a single-shot pistol that does real work without pretense, the Brawler is hard to beat.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I shoot both .410 and .45 Colt from the same gun without modification?
Yes. The Rossi Brawler is chambered for both calibers, so you can load either .410 shotgun rounds or .45 Colt ammunition into the single chamber and fire them as designed—no conversion kits or barrel swaps needed.
Is the Brawler suitable for hunting?
The 9-inch barrel and dual-caliber setup make it practical for small-game hunting, varmint control, and as a backup or finishing gun. Your choice of ammunition (shotgun pellets vs. revolver cartridges) lets you match the load to your quarry.
What kind of safety does this pistol have?
The Brawler features a hammer-fired design, giving you full manual control over the firing mechanism. The hammer must be cocked to fire; lowering it safely de-cocks the gun.
