The Remington 870 Fieldmaster 12ga pump action shotgun with 28" barrel is a no-frills, hard-working shotgun built on the proven foundation of America's most iconic pump-action design. For hunters and shooters who need a reliable workhorse without paying for unnecessary frills, the Fieldmaster delivers the same solid performance that has made the Model 870 a standard for over 60 years—but engineered for the field, not the display case. The 28" barrel strikes a practical balance for hunting applications, while the black synthetic stock and fore-end keep weight down and maintenance simple.

Built from a solid steel billet receiver and powered by twin action bars that cycle smoothly without binding or twisting, this shotgun gives you the mechanical reliability to count on when it matters. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting, opening up options for different shooting scenarios. You'll get a black matte finish on the barrel and receiver—the Fieldmaster finish—designed to resist rust and avoid the glint that spooks game. Load it with 2¾" or 3" shells; the gun handles both without modification.

What's in the box speaks to practical hunting: three interchangeable Rem Chokes (Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full), a choke tube wrench, cable lock, and magazine plug. The adjustable face comb insert lets you dial in your sight picture, and the insert is interchangeable with Remington's 870 Side Folder and VersaMax stocks if you decide to customize later. This is a shotgun that works hard, stays humble, and won't let you down in the field or at the range.
