The Remington 783 .308 Winchester bolt-action rifle delivers custom-grade accuracy at a price that won't break the bank. Built on over six decades of Remington's proven bolt-action engineering, the 783 starts from the ground up with modern accuracy features designed for hunters who want a dependable, field-ready rifle without unnecessary complexity. The 22" barrel in .308 Winchester gives you a versatile platform for hunting medium to large game across varied terrain.

What sets this 783 apart is the thoughtful attention to practical hunting details. The Kryptek Obskura Transitional camouflage synthetic stock is pillar-bedded for consistent accuracy and designed to blend in diverse field conditions—whether you're hunting timber, brush, or open country. The stock includes sling mounts and a Supercell recoil pad that helps tame the .308's kick without excess bulk. Factory scope mounts come ready to install, and the rifle also accepts Remington Model 700 front scope bases if you want to swap optics or upgrade later.

The new CrossFire trigger system is crisp and user-adjustable, so you can dial it to your preference rather than being stuck with whatever the factory preset. The detachable steel magazine holds four rounds for the .308, giving you reliable feeding and the option to swap out mags in the field. Combined with a steel magazine latch and Remington's reputation for rock-solid reliability, the 783 is built to handle years of hunting use.
