The Remington 700 Magpul Enhanced in 6.5 Creedmoor is a precision bolt-action rifle built for serious long-range hunting and shooting. Built on Remington's legendary Model 700 action—proven across decades of field use—this rifle combines a stiff 20-inch heavy barrel with modern ergonomics and modularity to create a capable platform for shooters who demand accuracy at distance. If you're after a rifle that balances traditional Remington reliability with contemporary tactical features, this is worth a close look.

The 20-inch barrel features 5R rifling, a profile designed to reduce bullet deformation and improve consistency shot to shot. The barrel is also threaded and comes with a protector, so you're ready to add a suppressor when the time comes—a practical feature for hunters looking to reduce recoil and muzzle blast. A Picatinny rail gives you a solid mounting surface for optics and accessories, and the rifle ships with Magpul's Hunter stock in black, a modern polymer design that's durable and lightweight without sacrificing ergonomics or aesthetics.

Magpul's M-Lok integration on the forend adds real versatility for mounting bipods, lights, or other field gear. The 6.5 Creedmoor chambering has earned its reputation as a go-to intermediate long-range round for hunting deer, elk, and shooting out to extended distances on the range. It's mild-mannered enough for extended shooting sessions but delivers serious ballistics when you need them. This is a no-frills, no-hype rifle for hunters and shooters who understand that precision starts with a solid foundation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this rifle suppressor-ready?

Yes. The barrel is threaded and includes a protector, so you can attach a suppressor once you've completed the necessary legal steps in your state.

What's the 5R rifling and why does it matter?

5R rifling is a specific pattern that reduces pressure on the bullet as it travels down the barrel, which helps maintain bullet integrity and improves consistency and accuracy, especially important for precision shooting at distance.

Can I attach a bipod or other gear to this rifle?

Yes. The rifle features Picatinny rail on top for optics and a Magpul Hunter stock with M-Lok slots on the forend, giving you mounting points for bipods, lights, and other tactical or field accessories.

Is this rifle a good choice for long-range hunting?

The 6.5 Creedmoor is well-established as an intermediate long-range hunting cartridge, and the heavy 20-inch barrel with 5R rifling is designed for precision. Combined with the Model 700 action, this rifle is set up for serious distance work on game.
