The Pietta Alchimista Jr 45LC revolver is a compact, engraved single-action built for shooters who want Old West style without sacrificing practical handling. Chambered in .45 LC, this 3.5-inch barreled revolver combines classic aesthetics—old silver and blue two-tone finish with hand-engraved details—with ergonomic upgrades that make it genuinely pleasant to shoot. The checkered grip provides solid purchase, while the wider, set-back trigger and lower, wider hammer are thoughtful refinements that improve control and trigger reach for modern hands working a traditional platform.
If you're drawn to single-action revolvers for Cowboy Action Shooting, hunting, or casual range work, the Alchimista Jr delivers that authentic look without the ergonomic compromises of a straight reproduction. The 3.5-inch barrel hits a practical sweet spot—short enough for convenient carry and quick handling, long enough for respectable sight radius and velocity in .45 LC. The two-tone finish and engraving make this revolver stand out on the range or in a collection, yet it's built to work, not just display.
Pietta has earned respect among single-action enthusiasts for fit and reliability, and the Alchimista Jr is no exception. Whether you're working up .45 LC handloads, competing, or just enjoying the mechanics of a well-made revolver, this one rewards attention to detail—both in its design and in how you shoot it.
