The North American Arms Earl .22 Mag/.22LR revolver is a compact, versatile single-action mini-revolver that pairs classic 1860s styling with modern practical design. Chambered in .22 Magnum with an included conversion cylinder for .22 Long Rifle, this five-shot revolver gives you caliber flexibility in a gun small enough for deep pocket carry, backpack backup, or any situation where a lightweight defensive tool makes sense. At just 9.5 ounces unloaded and under 10 inches overall, the Earl delivers honest firepower without bulk.
What sets NAA mini-revolvers apart is attention to safety detail. The cylinder features a half-way notch that lets the hammer rest safely between chambers—no need to carry on an empty round. That's the kind of engineering born from decades of building guns people actually carry. The stainless steel construction handles the elements without flinching, whether you're in the backcountry, the range, or anywhere in between.
Versatility is built in. The .22 Magnum round is effective enough for varmints and personal defense, and compatibility with .22 Magnum shot shells (Snake Shot) gives you options for dealing with critters in camp. Swap in the included .22 Long Rifle conversion cylinder and you've got access to cheaper, widely available ammunition for plinking and practice. Single-action operation is straightforward and reliable—no secondary safeties to fumble in the moment.
This is a gun for people who value simplicity, independence, and versatility. No tactical polymer or marketing hype—just a purposeful revolver built on proven design principles and chambered in cartridges you can find and afford.
