North American Arms 1.63" .22 Mag/.22LR Revolver Stainless Steel - 22MCP
North American Arms
The North American Arms Black Widow is a compact .22 Mag/.22 LR revolver built on a proven mini-revolver platform that's been refined over decades. This isn't a full-size carry gun—it's a deep-concealment backup or ankle piece for shooters who prioritize portability and reliability in an ultralight package. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion and delivers the durability you need from a always-on-you backup firearm.
The Black Widow's design inherits the stability and accuracy improvements that NAA has engineered across its mini-revolver line. The .22 Mag/.22 LR chambering—switchable through ammunition selection—gives you flexibility for both practice and defensive use. Stainless construction keeps maintenance simple and lets you toss it in a pocket or boot holster without worrying about rust creeping in. It's the kind of gun that works best when you never think about it until you need it.
Mini-revolvers aren't for everyone, but they excel in deep-carry roles where traditional snubbies are too bulky. If you're an overlander, backcountry hunter, or someone who wants a genuinely pocketable backup, the Black Widow's compact footprint and proven NAA engineering make it a legitimate choice. The stainless finish and tight build quality mean this gun will hold up to hard use and neglect alike.

The Black Widow accepts both .22 Magnum and .22 LR ammunition interchangeably—you simply load whichever round you choose. .22 Magnum typically delivers higher velocity and energy, while .22 LR is quieter and produces less recoil. Many shooters load .22 Mag for carry and practice with cheaper .22 LR.
The Black Widow's ultra-compact size makes it well-suited for deep-concealment or backup roles, particularly in ankle holsters or pocket carry where larger revolvers won't fit. It's designed for shooters who prioritize concealability and always-on-you reliability.
Stainless steel resists rust and corrosion with minimal maintenance, making it ideal for a backup gun that may spend extended time in a holster or jacket pocket. For a gun you hope never needs cleaning, stainless is the practical choice.
NAA has spent decades refining mini-revolver design. The Black Widow incorporates proven engineering that emphasizes stability and shot-to-shot accuracy despite the small frame—advantages you'll notice when running it on steel at close range or in a defensive scenario.
