The Mossberg 590A1 Magpul Series is a purpose-built 12-gauge pump-action shotgun designed for serious shooters who demand reliability, modularity, and real-world performance. Built on the legendary 590A1 platform—trusted by military and law enforcement—this 9-shot configuration pairs a robust parkerized finish with modern ergonomics from Magpul's SGA/MOE furniture, giving you a shotgun that handles like a modern rifle while maintaining the raw stopping power of a combat-proven combat gun.
If you're setting up a home-defense shotgun, running practical shooting courses, or want a no-nonsense platform you can actually configure to fit your hands and shooting style, the 590A1 Magpul delivers. The 20-inch barrel keeps the gun compact and maneuverable in tight spaces—the overall length is just 41 inches, critical when you're moving through doorways or vehicles. XS Ghost Ring sights give you fast, reliable target acquisition in low light or high stress; they've been combat-proven for a reason. The adjustable length of pull (12.25 to 14.25 inches) means the stock fits shooters with different frames and gear configurations, and the Magpul furniture is built to take a beating and keep cycling.
At 7.25 pounds, it's substantial enough to manage recoil without being a boat to shoulder. The 3-inch chamber handles standard and magnum rounds, giving you flexibility in ammo selection without compromising the gun's proven simplicity. This isn't a shotgun chasing trends—it's a working tool that gets the job done every time you pull the trigger.
