The LSI Pointer FT6 SXS 20 gauge shotgun delivers classic side-by-side handling in a trim, versatile package built for upland hunters and clay shooters who prize balance and pointability. This 28-inch barrel model combines traditional ergonomics with thoughtful modern features—a single crisp trigger, barrel selector, and heat-tempered receiver that gives it both durability and visual character. If you want the timeless feel of a double without excess length or weight, the Pointer FT6 20 gauge is built to swing fast and shoot straight.
The shotgun ships with five choke tubes, letting you dial in patterns for everything from tight clays work to more open upland shooting. Turkish walnut furniture—checkered on the forend and grip for secure purchase—gives the gun a refined aesthetic without pretension. The heat-treated, case-colored receiver is a nod to shotgun tradition; it wears its finish honestly and will develop character with use. Extractors mean you're manually unloading hulls, which many shooters prefer for the control and feedback it offers.
Whether you're working a quail field, burning clay targets, or just after a gun that feels like a proper shotgun in your hands, the Pointer FT6 delivers the soul of a side-by-side without the premium price tag. It's the kind of workhorse that doesn't need to announce itself—just patterns well and handles like it knows what it's doing.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the LSI Pointer FT6 20 gauge best suited for?
The Pointer FT6 is ideal for upland bird hunting and clay target shooting where you value classic side-by-side handling, fast pointing, and the ability to choose between two barrels quickly. Its 28-inch barrels and trim profile make it exceptionally maneuverable in brush and around obstacles.
Does it come with choke tubes, and can I change them?
Yes, five choke tubes are included, allowing you to adjust the shot pattern for different distances and game. You can swap them to match your hunting conditions or shooting discipline.
What does "heat-tempered" mean on the receiver?
Heat tempering is a traditional hardening process that strengthens the steel receiver and creates the distinctive case-colored finish. It's both functional—making the gun more durable—and aesthetic, giving it a classic, hand-finished appearance.
Is this gun easy to unload after shooting?
The Pointer FT6 uses an extractor system, which means spent hulls are lifted as you open the action. You'll manually remove them rather than having them automatically ejected, giving you direct control and feedback—a feature many shooters prefer.
