The LSI Citadel Boss 20GA shotgun is a compact side-by-side coach gun built for hunters and sport shooters who value maneuverability and classic handling. With an 18.5-inch barrel and nickel finish, this 20-gauge delivers the kind of no-nonsense reliability you'd expect from a Turkish-walnut-stocked workhorse. The compact profile makes it ideal for brush hunting, home defense, or anyone who prefers a lighter, faster-handling shotgun without sacrificing pattern or reliability.
This is a true coach-style SXS—two barrels, one trigger, straightforward mechanics. The single crisp trigger lets you choose which barrel fires first via the barrel selector, giving you flexibility on the fly. Whether you're running different loads in each tube or just prefer the control of a side-by-side action, the boss delivers. Turkish walnut furniture with checkered forend and grip ensures a secure hold even in wet or cold conditions, and the extractors make unloading fast and easy.
The 3-inch chambers accept modern 20-gauge ammunition, and the nickel finish resists corrosion—practical for field work or storage. If you're after a compact, proven platform that won't break the bank or your shoulder, the Citadel Boss earns its place in the safe.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this shotgun good for hunting?
The Citadel Boss 20GA is well-suited to upland hunting and brush work where a lightweight, maneuverable shotgun matters. The compact 18.5-inch barrels get into tight spots fast, and the 20-gauge is plenty of gun for birds and small game. Many hunters also appreciate a coach gun for situations where capacity matters less than speed and reliability.
What ammunition does it take?
This shotgun is chambered in 20-gauge with 3-inch chambers, so it will accept standard 20-gauge shells up to 3 inches in length.
How does the barrel selector work?
The single trigger is paired with a barrel selector that lets you choose which barrel fires first. You can use different loads in each barrel—say, a tighter choke in one and a more open pattern in the other—and switch between them as needed.
Does it come with extractors or ejectors?
The Citadel Boss uses extractors, which pull spent shells partway out of the chambers so you can remove them by hand. This is typical of coach guns and works reliably in the field.
