The Kriss VECTOR SDP .45 ACP semi-auto tactical pistol is a purpose-built platform for shooters who want straight-line recoil management and tactical modularity in a duty or range gun. Built on Kriss's proven delayed-blowback operating system, the VECTOR SDP harnesses the company's signature Super V recoil mitigation technology to tame .45 ACP's substantial kick. The 5.5-inch barrel and 16.75-inch overall length make it handy enough for home defense or tactical training without sacrificing sight radius, while the FDE (Flat Dark Earth) finish pairs durability with a modern aesthetic that works in any setting.
This isn't a conceal-carry gun—it's designed for operators, competition shooters, and serious .45 enthusiasts who value controllability and modularity. The 30-round magazine capacity gives you serious trigger time between reloads, and the threaded barrel (M16x1 left-hand) opens the door to suppressors or muzzle devices. At 5.9 pounds unloaded, it balances substantially enough to manage recoil impulse without being a lead sled on the bench. The closed-bolt design ensures reliability and consistent shot-to-shot performance, whether you're running drills at the range or working through tactical scenarios.
If you run a lot of .45 ACP and want a semi-auto platform that genuinely reduces muzzle rise and blast signature, or if you're curious about Kriss's vectored recoil tech in a full-size format, the VECTOR SDP delivers honest engineering without the hype. Build it out with optics, lights, and accessories to suit your mission.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I attach a suppressor to the Kriss VECTOR SDP?
Yes. The barrel is threaded M16x1 left-hand, so you can mount any suppressor with matching female threads.
What size magazines does it use?
The VECTOR SDP ships with a 30-round magazine in .45 ACP.
Is the VECTOR SDP good for concealed carry?
No. At 16.75 inches overall and 5.9 pounds, it's designed as a full-size tactical or range platform. It's best suited for open carry, duty rigs, or home defense setups.
How does the delayed-blowback system work?
Kriss's delayed-blowback design is engineered to manage recoil by directing energy vectors away from the shooter's hand, resulting in less muzzle rise and faster recovery between shots compared to traditional direct-impingement or simple blowback designs.
