The Heritage Mfg Rough Rider .22LR revolver is a single-action rimfire that brings old-school shooting fun to the range, backyard, or farm without breaking the bank. With a 6.50-inch barrel and six-round cylinder, this .22 LR revolver offers the classic lines and smooth action of Heritage's bigger-bore revolvers in a caliber that's easy on the wallet and perfect for learning single-action fundamentals, plinking steel targets, or small-game hunting. The burnt bronze Cerakote finish on the frame and barrel pairs with a black satin cylinder and polymer grip for a rugged, period-correct look that feels at home in any shooting collection.

Whether you're setting up tin cans for an afternoon at the range, controlling varmints around the property, or teaching a younger shooter the mechanics of a proper revolver, the Rough Rider's low recoil and simple manual safety make it forgiving and reliable. The fixed front sight and rear notch are straightforward—no bells, no batteries—and the alloy steel construction keeps things light at just over 2 pounds unloaded. This is rimfire shooting stripped to its essentials: point, aim, squeeze, and enjoy.

Heritage has earned respect in the revolver world by building guns that feel and shoot like the real deal, and the Rough Rider proves you don't need to spend serious money to get that feel. With a 1:14 right-hand twist and six grooves, it cycles .22 LR reliably, and the single-action trigger is crisp enough to make your groups your responsibility, not the gun's.
