The Heritage Mfg Rough Rider .22LR revolver is a classic single-action wheelgun built for shooters who value simplicity, reliability, and honest fun at the range or in the field. With a 6.5-inch barrel and nickel finish, this six-round revolver delivers the timeless appeal of traditional revolver handling in an affordable, no-nonsense package. Whether you're teaching a new shooter, running steel at the range, or looking for a dependable .22 for small game, the Rough Rider combines vintage aesthetics with practical performance.

Built on a zinc alloy frame with alloy steel cylinder and barrel—all finished in bright nickel—the Rough Rider is built to last. The single-action trigger system keeps operation straightforward: cock and fire. Black laminate grips provide a secure, comfortable hold, and the fixed front sight and notch rear sight deliver a classic sight picture that's easy to pick up and use.

At just over 33 ounces unloaded and 11.78 inches overall, the Rough Rider is handy enough for extended shooting sessions without fatigue. The .22 LR cartridge is economical, low-recoiling, and forgiving—ideal for developing trigger control and marksmanship fundamentals. Six-round capacity means frequent reloads, but that's part of the manual revolver experience that shooters either love or use as a gateway back to centerfire platforms.

This is the revolver for shooters who appreciate honest engineering over modern tactical cosmetics. It's a working gun with character, not a safe queen.
