Henry U.S. Survival AR-7 .22 LR 8-Round Semi-Auto Rifle - Model H002C
Henry Repeating Arms
The Henry U.S. Survival AR-7 is a lightweight, compact .22 LR semi-auto rifle engineered for survival, target shooting, and small-game hunting. Built on the foundation of a firearm used by military and civilian survival kits for decades, this rifle combines portability with practical accuracy. At just 3.5 pounds and 35 inches overall, the AR-7 breaks down for storage or transport without tools, making it an ideal backup rifle for backcountry trips, camping, or emergency preparedness. The True Timber Viper Western Camo finish blends into high-desert and arid terrain while the durable ABS plastic stock and steel barrel handle the rigors of field use.
Chambered in .22 LR—one of the most economical and versatile rimfire cartridges—the AR-7 delivers reliable semi-automatic fire with two supplied 8-round magazines. The 1:16 twist barrel stabilizes standard and high-velocity .22 ammunition, giving you flexibility depending on your needs. Simple peep and blade sights are built in, and the 3/8 grooved receiver accepts standard scope rings if you want to upgrade to optics for longer-range precision. The switch safety keeps the rifle secure and ready, while the rubber buttpad tames what little recoil exists in this caliber.
This rifle isn't built for speed or tacticality—it's built for reliability, lightness, and self-sufficiency. Whether you're sighting in at the range, dispatching varmints, or keeping a survival kit complete, the Henry AR-7 delivers American-made durability in a package that doesn't demand much from you or your pack.

Yes. The receiver features 3/8 inch grooved rails that accept standard scope rings and mounts, allowing you to upgrade from the peep and blade sights to an optic for improved accuracy and range.
The rifle is chambered in .22 LR and will fire both standard and high-velocity .22 ammunition thanks to its 1:16 twist barrel. Standard .22 LR is typically quieter and has less recoil, while high-velocity rounds deliver greater velocity and energy for hunting or longer-range work. Both function reliably in this rifle.
The AR-7 has been used in military and civilian survival kits for decades because it's compact, lightweight (3.5 lbs), breaks down without tools for storage or transport, and fires an economical, widely available cartridge. The lightweight design and portability make it ideal for backcountry camping, emergency preparedness, or as a compact backup rifle—not as a primary hunting or tactical platform.
The Henry U.S. Survival AR-7 comes with two 8-round magazines, giving you a total capacity of 16 rounds without reloading.
