ATI GSG-16 .22LR Semi-Auto Tactical Rifle - High-Performance, Lightweight, and Versatile - Model GERGGSG1622ML
American Tactical Imports
The GSG-16 .22LR semi-auto rifle brings affordable fun to the range with a modern tactical platform that punches above its weight class. Built on German Sports Guns' proven .22 caliber operating system, this lightweight rifle combines practical features—collapsible stock, picatinny rails, and ambidextrous charging handle—with the low recoil and economical ammo costs that make .22LR shooting addictive. Whether you're introducing new shooters, building a collection, or running drills on a budget, the GSG-16 delivers reliable plinking performance without the price tag of center-fire alternatives.
The rifle's tactical styling doesn't sacrifice function for form. The redesigned collapsible stock doubles as a magazine storage compartment, so you can keep spare rounds immediately accessible. An MLOK-compatible handguard hosts picatinny rails for mounting lights, lasers, or other accessories, while the ambidextrous charging handle lets you run the gun from either shoulder. A 16.25-inch barrel with 6 grooves keeps the overall length manageable—just 28.5 inches when collapsed, or 34.25 inches fully extended—and the rifle weighs only 5.84 pounds, making it friendly for younger shooters and extended range sessions.
Out of the box, the GSG-16 includes a 22-round magazine and simplified front and rear sights optimized for quick target acquisition. The rifle also accepts GSG-5 and GSG-522 stick and rotary magazines for flexibility. A 5.5-pound trigger keeps the press predictable, and the polymer receiver keeps weight low without compromising durability. High-velocity .22LR ammunition (1260 fps and above) is recommended for optimal reliability and performance.
