The Great Lakes Firearms AR-15 in .450 Bushmaster with an 18" barrel brings serious stopping power to a modern, modular platform. Built on a 7075 aluminum upper and lower receiver, this rifle delivers the hard-hitting performance of the .450 Bushmaster cartridge—a round built for hunting medium to large game at intermediate ranges—without sacrificing the ergonomics and customization you expect from an AR. The 18" barrel keeps the overall length to 35 inches, making it handy in tight spaces while the bronze Cerakote finish resists wear and corrosion in the field.

This semi-automatic rifle comes topped with a full-length Picatinny rail (15.25" handguard on 6061 aluminum) and threaded for accessories. The mid-length gas system with a 0.750 gas block keeps things running reliably, and a mil-spec trigger with a 5.5–6 lb pull gives you predictable breaks for accurate shooting. Included is one 5-round magazine and a muzzle brake (6 degrees forward, wrench-tightened). The rifle ships at 6.4 lbs, light enough for all-day hunting.

The .450 Bushmaster has carved out a niche for hunters who want AR handling with traditional rifle ballistics—especially in states where rifle hunting is restricted to straight-wall cartridges. This Great Lakes Firearms build pairs that caliber with a proven platform, and the bronze finish signals a rifle built to work, not just look good on the shelf.
