The Great Lakes Firearms AR-10 in .243 Win is a precision-focused semi-automatic rifle built for shooters who demand accuracy and reliability without compromise. Chambered in the efficient .243 Winchester—a caliber prized for its flat trajectory, mild recoil, and inherent precision—this rifle combines a 24-inch stainless steel barrel with a modern AR-10 platform, making it equally at home on the range or in the field. The rifle's 7075 aluminum upper and lower receivers deliver rigidity and light weight, while the 5R rifling in the barrel enhances accuracy and reduces fouling. At 9.3 pounds, it's manageable for extended shooting sessions without fatigue.

Ergonomics and modularity are built in. The full-length Picatinny rail on the 20-inch handguard gives you unlimited mounting options for optics, lights, or other accessories. The mil-spec polymer grip and rifle-length gas tube system are proven platforms, and the included muzzle brake—threaded at 5/8 x 24—is engineered for wrench-tight installation without Loctite. The 5-round magazine capacity keeps the rifle compliant in restricted areas while maintaining practical field capacity. Finished in Cerakote over the stainless steel barrel and ODG (Olive Drab Green) accents, this rifle looks the part and stands up to hard use.

Whether you're building a long-range setup, seeking a tack-driving varmint rifle, or want a flat-shooting option for open-country hunting, the .243 Win AR-10 delivers the accuracy and versatility the platform is known for. The mil-spec trigger (5.5–6 lb pull) is predictable and crisp. No sights are included, which means you're free to spec the optic setup to your exact needs—a blank canvas for the shooter who knows what they want.
