Diamondback DB15 5.56 NATO Rifle, 16" Barrel, 30-Round, M-LOK, FDE Finish
Diamondback
The Diamondback DB15 5.56 NATO 16" M-LOK rifle in OD Green delivers a serious mid-length rifle built on proven mil-spec bones with quality aftermarket upgrades where it counts. If you're looking for a reliable AR platform rifle that splits the difference between budget and premium, this is the kind of platform that doesn't compromise on the essentials: a solid carrier, purposeful controls, and a handguard that gives you room to work without breaking the bank.
The 16-inch barrel with 1:8 twist handles 5.56 NATO across the board—target loads, duty rounds, or hunting-weight ammunition all work smoothly. That mid-length gas system keeps the bolt cycling predictable, and the shot-peened, magnet-inspected carrier is the kind of attention to detail that keeps malfunctions rare. The forged receivers (upper and lower alike) are where the strength lives, and Diamondback's own Obsidian muzzle brake tames the impulse without requiring a can.
Where the DB15 gets interesting is the control layout. Battle Arms Development ambidextrous safety, mag catch, and an enhanced bolt catch mean you're not fumbling around the gun whether you're right- or left-handed. The Breek Arms Warhammer charging handle is smooth, the MagPul CTR stock collapses from 33 inches down to a compact 36.25, and the MOE K2 grip feels natural in the hand for long sessions at the range. The M-LOK handguard gives you clean attachment points for lights, bipods, or whatever else the mission calls for, and the full Picatinny rail on top plays nice with optics.
This is a rifle that works out of the box with the included 30-round PMAG, runs clean, and doesn't ask for excuses. Ideal for 3-gun competitors, hunters looking to stay light in the field, or anyone building a dependable home-defense or range rifle on a platform they know.

The DB15 ships with one MagPul Gen M3 30-round PMAG and the rifle itself. No sights are included, but the A3 flattop upper is compatible with any standard Picatinny-mounted red dot, scope, or other optic you want to add.
Yes. The safety selector, magazine catch, and bolt catch are all ambidextrous controls, and the Breek Arms Warhammer Mod2 charging handle works smoothly from either side. This makes it easy to shoot strong-hand, weak-hand, or transition between shoulders without reaching across the gun.
The mid-length gas system on the DB15 balances reliability and recoil management. It positions the gas port further back than a carbine system, which generally leads to smoother cycling, less bolt carrier wear, and easier shooting during long range sessions or competitive courses.
The DB Obsidian muzzle brake has a 1/2 x 28 thread pattern, which is standard for suppressors on 5.56 rifles. If you have a suppressor, you can simply remove the brake and thread the can directly onto the barrel.
Sights are not included. The flat-top A3 receiver is drilled and tapped to accept any standard Picatinny rail mount, so you have complete freedom to choose whatever optic or sight platform suits your mission—from a budget red dot to a premium scope.
